PER CURIAM.

Larry Van Pelt, Sr., an Arkansas inmate, appeals from the dismissal of his 42 U.S.C. § 1983 action. We affirm.

Van Pelt was arrested for the murder of a convenience store employee in Parkin, Arkansas. When he was brought into the Parkin police station by the arresting officers, he was punched in the face by Anthony Denwiddie — boyfriend of the victim and witness to the crime — who was there to give his statement.
