Appellant, Reginald Goldsmith, was convicted by a jury of transporting hazardous waste to unpermitted facilities, in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 6928(d)(1); and storing hazardous waste without a permit, in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 6928(d)(2)(A). He was sentenced to twenty-three months imprisonment, to run concurrently with another federal sentence he had received in the District of South Carolina.
