Defendant was charged by bill of information with possession of cocaine, a violation LSA-R.S. 40:967. After a hearing on May 5, 1989, the trial court denied defendant's motion to suppress the evidence. Defendant was tried by a six member jury on August 26, 1989 and was found guilty as charged.
