The defendant, Thomas D. Jefferson, was charged by a bill of information with armed robbery, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. Defendant was tried by jury, found guilty as charged, and sentenced to serve sixteen (16) years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.
