The defendant-appellant, Debra Alessandroni, was convicted of violating 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1), which prohibits possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The district court sentenced her to 21 months in prison under United States Sentencing Guideline § 2K2.1(a)(2).
