Appellant was charged with the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, in an amount less than 28 grams. Tex.Health & Safety Code Ann. § 481.115(b). After the trial court denied his motion to suppress, appellant entered a plea of guilty pursuant to a plea bargain agreement and was placed on deferred adjudication probation for a period of seven years.
