Plaintiff, Geoquest Productions ("Geoquest"), filed this breach of contract action against defendant, Embassy Home Entertainment, Inc. ("Embassy"), a videocassette distributor. Prior to trial, the trial court granted defendant's in limine motion barring evidence of an alleged, prior oral promise guaranteeing minimum sales.
