This appeal arises from an order denying defendant Jimmy Edwards' motion to withdraw his guilty plea. Defendant was charged in the circuit court of Douglas County with three counts of criminal sexual assault, in violation of section 12-13(a)(3) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 12-13(a)(3)).
