Carl Mott, appellant, was indicted for the offense of aggravated assault on a correctional officer, enhanced by two prior felony convictions for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and aggravated robbery. He pled not guilty and was convicted by a jury. Appellant pled true to both enhancement paragraphs and the jury found them to be true. The jury assessed punishment at 25 years confinement in the Texas Department...
