OPINION

WALKER, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal from a conviction for the felony offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault. The trial began on April 16, 1990 and on May 1, 1990 the jury found appellant guilty. The jury then assessed punishment at ninety-nine (99) years confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and assessed a fine of $10,000.00.
