Appellant entered a plea of not guilty before the jury to the offense of aggravated robbery. He was convicted, and the jury assessed punishment, enhanced under Tex.Penal Code Ann. § 12.42(c) (Vernon Supp.1990), at confinement for life in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and a fine of $10,000.00.
