Defendant has not addressed his second assignment in his brief. It is therefore deemed abandoned. N.C.R.App.P., Rule 28. In his remaining assignments, defendant contends that the court erred in admitting certain testimony, in failing to dismiss the charges against him based on a variance between the indictment and the evidence, and in its charge to the jury.
