In this case, we are asked to construe the bail provision of the Uniform Criminal Extradition Act (UCEA), MCL 780.15; MSA 28.1285(15). We hold, consistent with the majority of the jurisdictions which have addressed the issue, that once a governor has issued an extradition warrant and a fugitive is being held solely for purposes of extradition to another state under the UCEA, the fugitive has no right to bail, and the courts of this state have no power...
