The defendant, Robert Mansfield, was convicted after a jury trial in Superior Court (McHugh, J.) of second degree assault, RSA 631:2 (current version at Supp. 1990). The defendant appeals his conviction and argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion to dismiss, two motions for mistrial, and two motions for judgment of acquittal notwithstanding the verdict. For the reasons set forth below, we affirm.
