Sharon Sue Cook pled guilty to three counts of a forty-three count indictment that charged her with embezzling her deceased father-in-law's social security benefits between June 1986 and January 1990 in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 641 (1988). Pursuant to the plea agreement, the other forty counts were dismissed. The court sentenced Ms. Cook to three years probation on each count, the sentences to run concurrently, and ordered her to pay restitution...
