A jury found Douglas Arledge guilty of aggravated assault, second degree kidnapping, misdemeanor battery, and the use of a firearm in the commission of a crime. He was given concurrent sentences, the longest of which—for the kidnapping—was twenty-five years with a ten-year minimum period of incarceration.
