In this Texas diversity case plaintiff-appellee North American Savings Association (North American) sued now-defunct corporations and their purported distributees, including defendant-appellant Edward P. Rea, for interest accrued on a nonrecourse promissory note, such interest having been guaranteed by a partnership composed of three of the defunct corporations.
