This is an appeal brought by the natural mother from the probate court's order annulling the adoption of her minor child by her former husband (stepfather).

In July 1989 the stepfather, who was married to the mother at the time, petitioned the Probate Court of Montgomery County for leave to adopt the mother's minor child, C.M.C. On July 27, 1989, after the natural father's consent was obtained and all other procedural requirements were met...
