Freddie B. Campbell sued Friendly Credit Union, which had financed the purchase of Campbell's 1986 GMC truck and had subsequently repossessed it, to recover damages for conversion of the truck, which Campbell alleged the defendant disposed of in a commercially unreasonable manner. The credit union counterclaimed, seeking a deficiency judgment based upon its loan agreement with Campbell. A jury in the Circuit Court of Mobile County found for Campbell...
