Raymond Earl Leet appeals his convictions for child abuse and third-degree felony murder. §§ 827.04(1), Fla. Stat. (Supp. 1988), 782.04(4), Fla. Stat. (1987). Although this case presents two difficult issues, we affirm. First, the state's evidence was sufficient to create a jury question concerning Mr. Leet's legal obligation to prevent his girlfriend's abuse of her child while the child was living in Mr. Leet's home on a permanent basis...
