Appellant was convicted in a trial by jury of delivery of dangerous drugs, specifically thyroid, in violation of TEX.REV.CIV. STAT.ANN. art. 4476-14 § 15(b) (Vernon 1976), repealed and now codified as TEX. HEALTH 483.-042 (Vernon Pamph.1991), and was sentenced by the trial court to ten years confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections.1 Appellant...
