Larry Donahue was charged by bill of information with attempted first degree murder of West Feliciana Parish Sheriff W.M. Daniel, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:27 and 14:30 A(2). Defendant pled not guilty, was tried by jury and found guilty as charged. Thereafter, the state filed a multiple offender bill of information charging defendant as a habitual felony offender.
