The sole issue presented in this case is whether appellant's medical malpractice cause of action was timely filed pursuant to the requirements of R.C. 2305.11 (A).

R.C. 2305.11 (A), which was in effect at the time of the commencement of the present action, states in pertinent part: "An action for * * * malpractice against a physician * * * shall be brought within one year after the cause thereof accrued * * *."4
