The defendant was charged for failing to stop and give information at the scene of an accident (75 Pa.C.S. §3742(a)(1)) and for driving at a speed greater than reasonable under the circumstances (75 Pa.C.S. §3361). This court granted defendant's motion for a mistrial because of the repeated efforts by the assistant district attorney to elicit hearsay testimony from the arresting officer who was the first witness to testify...
