In 1974, plaintiff Myrna Labow instituted an action for divorce, in Connecticut, against defendant Ronald Labow; a divorce was granted by the Connecticut court on August 28, 1978, which found that the marriage had irretrievably broken down. The Connecticut judgment was subsequently filed and entered in New York on October 10, 1978 and has since been accorded full faith and credit on numerous occasions...
