Terry Melton, a.k.a. Terrence R. Melton ("Melton"), appeals from his conviction and sentencing in a jury trial upon two counts of drug trafficking and two counts of drug abuse.

Facts

Randall Shankel ("Shankel"), under indictment for drug trafficking in November 1989, agreed to cooperate with law enforcement authorities in a drug "sting" operation. Shankel indicated to authorities that Melton could be targeted by this operation...
