Appellants brought this wrongful death action against their deceased mother's live-in paramour, Claude "Pat" Patterson, Jr. Appellants' mother, Muriel Maddox, was a terminally ill cancer patient at the time of her death. Shortly prior to Ms. Maddox's death, she and Patterson consulted an attorney for the purpose of changing their wills. The change in Ms. Maddox's will effectuated appellants' disinheritance and left her estate...
