In July of 1987, two investigators working for plaintiff Anheuser-Busch, Inc., discovered a number of counterfeit and infringing products of various copyrights and trademarks at a company known as Colour-Tex, Inc. This suit was instituted and a temporary restraining order and an ex parte seizure order pertaining to Colour-Tex were issued on August 11, 1987.
