This case involves the disposition of an unscheduled asset of a bankruptcy estate. After a tortuous path involving three trips through bankruptcy and district courts, it presents this rather queer result: the defendant law firm executed on a judgment (the unscheduled asset) for its client (the bankrupt), for which the bankruptcy court awarded it attorney's fees of roughly $8,000, but the bankruptcy court then found that the law firm...
