Christopher Gardner pleaded guilty to two counts of violating 18 U.S.C. § 1001 (knowingly concealing a material fact from an agency of the United States as to a matter within the jurisdiction of that agency). The guilty plea was conditioned upon the government dismissing twelve additional counts and with Gardner reserving his right to appeal the denial of his motion to dismiss the superseding indictment.
