Robert Jean Theresius Filippi appeals his conviction for knowingly importing cocaine into a territory of the United States, and knowingly possessing cocaine aboard an aircraft arriving into a territory of the United States. He claims that his Sixth Amendment compulsory process right and Fifth Amendment due process right were violated by the Government's refusal to help him transport a defense witness from Ecuador.
