Defendant was convicted of the first degree murders (Pen. Code, § 187) of Diane Pencin and Debra Cimmino.1 He was also convicted of burglary of the Pencin-Cimmino residence (§ 459) and attempted rape (§§ 664/261) of Debra Cimmino.
