CRIST, Judge.

Defendant appeals his conviction of tampering with a witness. Defendant was sentenced to one year imprisonment in the St. Louis Medium Security Institution. We affirm.

Defendant was charged with one count of rape and one count of tampering with a witness. The jury acquitted defendant on the rape count but convicted him on the tampering with a witness count. Defendant, who is black, challenges his conviction alleging he was denied equal protection...
