At issue in this case is the quantum of evidence necessary to survive a summary judgment motion under the Federal Employers' Liability Act (the "FELA"), 45 U.S.C. §§ 51-60 (1982). David Harbin filed suit against his former employer, the Burlington Northern Railroad Company (the "Railroad"), pursuant to the FELA. Harbin alleges that he suffered a heart attack as a result of the Railroad's failure to furnish a reasonably safe work environment...
