This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction and sentence rendered in the Common Pleas Court of Paulding County, following a jury trial in which the defendant-appellant DeWayne Grunden was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and drug abuse. The charges arose from the death of the defendant's thirteen-month-old daughter, Jessica Grunden, who suffered a cardiac arrest following the ingestion of cocaine...
