ARMSTRONG, Judge.
Defendant, Bobby Holmes, was indicted and tried for second degree murder, a violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1. Following a trial by jury he was found guilty as charged and sentenced to serve life at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
