Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant was arrested on September 6, 1984, shortly after fleeing on foot from the front yard of the Southampton home of his paramour as a police officer made a check of the license plates on a white Corvette parked on the street. The defendant was ultimately indicted for criminal possession of stolen property in the first degree based upon his possession of the Corvette, which had been reported stolen some three months...
