The defendant, Daniel Kordish, was charged by bill of information with a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:95.1, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Defendant waived a trial by jury and was found guilty as charged, after a bench trial, on June 21, 1988. Defendant was sentenced to serve three years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. Defendant seeks review of his conviction asserting that the evidence was insufficient...
