Jerry J. Jeppesen appeals from an order committing him to Western State Hospital for observation and treatment pursuant to RCW 10.77.110. A jury found Jeppesen not guilty by reason of insanity of two counts of first degree assault. Jeppesen contends that the trial court erred by refusing to bifurcate the proceedings.
