In this appeal, the appellants challenge the propriety of an award of almost 1.4 million dollars in attorney's fees in favor of the Royal Crown Company (Royal Crown) for its efforts to prevent PepsiCo Inc. (PepsiCo) and the Coca-Cola Company (Coca-Cola) from acquiring certain carbonated soft drink companies. 678 F.Supp. 875.
