This criminal case is before the court on defendant's motion to correct what he contends is an illegal sentence and to obtain the return of illegally collected money.

Defendant was sentenced in this court on November 10, 1987, on his plea of guilty to two counts of using a false social security number in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 408(g)(2). Part of his sentence included the imposition of two $50 criminal assessment penalties...
