Defendant appeals from his conviction of two counts of receiving stolen property, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-6-408(1) (Supp. 1989). Defendant argues on appeal that the methods and conduct employed by Sergeant Charles Illsley, a member of the Metro Major Felony Unit, constituted entrapment under Utah Code Ann. § 76-2-303(1) (1978).
