HUNTLEY, Justice.

This case arises as the result of an automobile accident that occurred on January 31, 1987, at the intersection of Franklin Road and Star Road located in Canyon County, Idaho. At approximately 10:30 p.m., a pickup driven by Woolery ran a stop sign at a very high speed and crashed into an automobile driven by Christopher Price. Price's passenger, Carol Francis Price, was fatally injured in the accident and Christopher Price was seriously injured....
