PER CURIAM.

Shortly before his scheduled execution, Lightbourne filed an appeal from the denial of his motion for postconviction relief under Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.850 and a petition for habeas corpus. Because there appeared to be some merit in his arguments in at least one of these proceedings, we entered a stay of execution. We have jurisdiction. Art. V, § 3(b)(1), (9), Fla. Const.
