J.L.K., Jr., appeals from a final judgment entered in the District Court1 for the District of Minnesota upon a jury verdict finding him guilty of attempted escape in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 751(a). The district court sentenced appellant to a term of 15 months imprisonment, to be served consecutively to the sentence he is presently serving, 3 years supervised release, and a $50 special assessment.
