DOUCET, Judge.

On March 2, 1988, defendant, Howard Lee Cassell, was found guilty by a jury of twelve of possession of marijuana, a violation of La.R.S. 40:966. After the jury returned its verdict, the trial judge sentenced defendant to six months imprisonment in the parish jail. Defendant appealed his conviction and sentence, asserting six assignments of error. One of these assignments of error has not been briefed on appeal...
