We granted a writ in this case to consider defendant's contention that his 6th Amendment right to confront witnesses against him was violated when the 9 year-old alleged victim in a rape-incest case was permitted to testify at the trial via closed circuit television.

In 1985, defendant Joseph Presley was convicted of aggravated rape and incest. He was subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment...
