Plaintiff suffered an on-the-job injury when an extension ladder fell and struck him. He alleges that an employe of defendant was negligent in connection with the accident and that defendant is his "indirect employer" for purposes of the Employer's Liability Act (ORS 654.305 et seq) (ELA).
