This appeal is from a sentence imposed upon a defendant charged with manslaughter, LSA-R.S. 14:31, by indictment of the Jefferson Parish Grand Jury. The defendant, Eric Richardson pled guilty to the charge as part of a plea bargain agreement in which the State agreed to drop a simple robbery charge also pending against the defendant.
