GUILLORY v. FUSELIER

No. 88-679.

549 So.2d 920 (1989)

Sherryl GUILLORY, Plaintiff-Appellant, v. Eddie FUSELIER, Defendant-Appellee.

Court of Appeal of Louisiana, Third Circuit.

October 4, 1989.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Jarvis J. Claiborne, Opelousas, for plaintiff-appellant.

J. Jake Fontenot, Mamou, for defendant-appellee.

Before DOMENGEAUX, FORET and KING, JJ.

DOMENGEAUX, Judge.

Sherryl Guillory filed this paternity suit, alleging the defendant, Eddie Fuselier, is the father of her minor child, Jonathan Edward Guillory. After plaintiff presented her case, the trial judge granted a directed verdict for the defendant and dismissed plaintiff's case with prejudice. Because we find that the trial judge erred in not ordering the parties to submit to blood testing, we reverse and remand for a new trial.
